Two Yummy .CA Sales Reported at DNS

I was scanning through the domains sold at DomainNameSales.com today, and noticed at the top of the list dated August 10, were the following two .ca sales

freshfruit.ca  -  $5,000 to $10,000 range

edible.ca  -  $10,000 to $20,000 range

Both domains are currently registered at Godaddy.  Freshfruit.ca shows a registration date of 2001, and Edible.ca shows a registration date of 2005.  The sale prices given by DNS are always a range, but anywhere in those ranges would be a solid price for each of those domains.

Both domains look to have been bought by http://www.ediblearrangements.ca/

Edible.ca is a perfect way for this company to shorten their name and own the 'Edible' space for .ca (there are many other companies in Canada that use the word 'Edible' in their business name).  It makes a lot of sense for them to use this domain, instead of their longer name (one reason would be for emailing, having to type in the longer domain for an email would be a pain!).  Fresh fruit is also a big part of their marketing, so both domains are a great fit for this company.  I don't know if they will keep forwarding Edible.ca to their current domain, but it would make sense for them to transition their site to the shorter domain over time.
